Information we use
If you create an account or use marketplace features, Strawbarter processes account details and the listings, enquiries, saved items and exchange information you choose to submit. Public listings can be seen by site visitors. Information is used to provide the feature you choose, such as account access, listing search or member-to-member exchange tools. Avoid putting sensitive information in a public listing.
Messages and sharing
When a feature lets you send an enquiry or exchange information, the details you submit may be shown to the member or members involved so they can respond. The site’s available information does not describe every operational message, recipient or onward disclosure, so this page does not make a wider claim about them.
External services and payments
Cashback links take you to TopCashback. If you follow one, TopCashback may use its own cookies or similar technologies to attribute your visit under its terms and privacy information. Strawbarter does not control that service’s tracking or its retailer eligibility decisions.
Some paid listing options use Stripe-hosted checkout. This page does not confirm what personal or payment details Stripe receives, whether or how card details are stored, or how payment records are retained. Review the information Stripe provides during checkout. The available information also does not establish any broader advertising practices.
Cookies, local storage and analytics
Sign-in uses session cookies so account features can recognise an authenticated member. The cookie-preference control saves your choice in this browser’s local storage. When Polsia platform analytics are enabled for a deployment, a visitor identifier may also be stored in local storage and a page-view beacon sent. Retention, deletion and privacy requests
